Clocking the Olympics

The countdown to the Games is now digital. The Olympics are coming! And the countdown clock for Vancouver's 2010 Olympic Games is a steady reminder. Perched in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery (750 Hornby St.), the clock's cedar, steel and glass construction is intended to mirror the city’s architecture, while its design draws inspiration from First Nations art. A digital display counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the XXI Winter Games on one side and is equally specific on the other for the X Paralympic Games.
