A GuestLife Vancouver Great Gallery
This internationally recognized gallery is Canada's foremost specialist in European and North American paintings of the highest quality from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th century. The elegant, neo-classical surroundings of the gallery also showcase a careful selection of antique furniture, silver, and objets d'art. Established in 1977, Uno Langmann Limited Fine Art has been located in the first building on South Granville's Gallery Row for thirty years.
Originally from Denmark, owner Uno Langmann has been a fixture of the local art and antique market since he first went into business in 1968. Between 1979 and 1981 Uno Langmann established Sotheby Parke Bernet in Vancouver, and became Sotheby's sole representative in the Northwest. Uno Langmann's daughter Jeanette Langmann has worked by his side for many years and currently both are experts on the CBC's Canadian Antiques Roadshow. Uno Langmann Limited Fine Art is committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and connoisseurship. Both museums and private collectors have come to rely on the gallery for a full range of services relating to acquisitions, consignment, sales, appraisals, conservation, and framing. Uno Langmann is interested in acquiring works through purchase or consignment, offering clients a confidential and appealing alternative to the auction marketplace with lower commission rates.
