El Paso Restaurants - Thyme MattersA GuestLife El Paso Great Restaurant

Thyme Matters emerged from a mixture of tradition and modernity in cuisine and the belief that El Pasoans are looking for (and deserve) more from their dining experience. Owner and Chef Alejandra Chavez envisioned a place where friends, families, and business professionals could celebrate, or unwind after a busy day. Thyme Matters delivers innovation and vibrancy to its dishes, with an unexpected fusion of herbs and sauces from diverse cultures. The best ingredients, a passion for flavor, dependable service, and attention to detail, are its foundations.

The Italian-inspired cross-cultural cuisine offers the best of the best, accompanied by fine wines, hand crafted cocktails, and a warm atmosphere. It is the ideal setting for any occasion. Start with the hand breaded calamari or the delicious Mediterranean Trio served with classic spreads and crispy pita bread. Salads are as beautiful as they are bountiful. The Grilled Salmon Salad, has blended greens, kalamata olives, cranberries, toasted pine nuts, a sprinkling of feta, and balsamic vinaigrette. Or try one of the paninis such as Rosemary Chicken with oven-dried tomato and fresh mozzarella with lemon-garlic aioli on toasted ciabatta bread. House favorite entrées include a New York Strip with parmesan mashed potatoes in a demiglacé sauce and Fresh Australian Barramundi with chipotle-lime vinaigrette. Sautéed Chicken, prepared with artichoke hearts, capers, and black olives in a white wine sauce, is served over linguini. The savory Linguini with sweet basil cream sauce and toasted pine nuts or the Pasta Peperone features roasted red peppers, vegetables, and pancetta with a béchamel sauce. Decadent homemade desserts ensure every visit has a delightfully sweet ending. Try a Raspberry Crème Brûlée, the Tres Leches Cake, or the Warm Molten Lava Chocolate Cake.

The outdoor patio, with a spectacular view of the Franklin Mountains, is ideal for enjoying a glass of wine from the extensive list or savoring a signature drink such as the Thyme Tini, the Tamarind Mojito or the award-winning Blue Agave. The fully equipped private media/dining room is the perfect place to host a presentation or a private party.
